Acts of the story are split from one another, much like in a play, by title cards. The very apparent choice of style can lead you to believe that it will also deliver something else, but that is never going to be the case.
It's a disorganised affair, and unlike Stlund's prior movie, the ensemble isn't particularly strong. Up-and-coming actor Harris Dickinson is the closest we come to a leading role, but he has the onerous duty of portraying a vapid fashion model, so it's very difficult to win the audience over.
Woody Harrelson might have served as the main focal point for the dispersed cast, which also includes Zlatko Buric and Danish Vicky Berlin, but instead he is so hardly involved that it is more of a glorified cameo.
